LICENSE |

planners, is pleased
to announce that Ryan
W. MacDonald,
Assistant Survey
Manager, has recently
received accreditation
as a New Hampshire
Licensed Land
Surveyor.
Mr.
MacDonald, a resident
of Ashland, received
his surveying and
mapping education from
the Denver Institute
of Technology (now
Westwood College) and
has ten years of
surveying experience.
He formerly served as
Chief of Survey and
has been promoted to
Assistant Survey
Manager since
rejoining the staff in
2005.
Licensure
signifies that the
surveyor has met
national standards and
has demonstrated a
high level of
competency in the
profession. The firm
now has two licensed
land surveyors on
staff, to better serve
all of New Hampshire.
Provan
& Lorber, Inc.
provides civil,
environmental and
structural engineering
and land surveying
services throughout
northern New England
for municipal,
recreation/resort,
healthcare, commercial
and industrial
clients. Founded in
1984, the firm has 20
employees, with
offices in Contoocook
and Littleton, New
Hampshire.

back James Murn to our
Littleton office.
Murn,
a Dalton resident,
received his BS degree
in Landscape
Architecture from the
University of
Wisconsin. A NH
Certified Wetlands
Scientist and Licensed
Septic Designer, he
has previously served
as a wetlands
inspector for the
State of New
Hampshire. He
left Provan &
Lorber, Inc. in 2001
to join Presby
Construction and
Presby Environmental,
providing home design
and septic
system design and
review.
Murn
said his decision to
re-join the staff in
Littleton was based on
new opportunities he
couldn't pass up.
"Provan and
Lorber has offered me
new and diverse
opportunities. I
will be able to apply
my current skills and
also have a chance to
learn and grow into
new areas of
increasing
responsibility."
And
the company is pleased
to have back a colleague
whose site design
experience includes
local projects such as
Littleton Regional
Hospital, Staples, and
VIP Auto.

MOVED

planners, announces
that its Littleton,
New Hampshire office
has moved from School
Street to 101 Cottage
Street in Littleton,
effective June 1,
2004.
Tim
Grant, P.E., Regional
Manager for Provan
& Lorber, Inc. in
Littleton, said
"this newly
refurbished building
has a better office
layout for our
staff. It also
has more parking and
puts us closer to I-93
for the convenience of
our many clients and
vendors. Provan
& Lorber has had
an office in Littleton
since 1988 and we love
the community.
We plan to be in
Littleton for a long
time, to continue
serving our North
Country clients."

noted that the office

number will remain

Timothy S. Goldthwaite, P.E. to the
firm as project engineer.
Mr.
Goldthwaite, a
graduate of the
University of New
Hampshire with a
degree in Civil
Engineer, comes to the
firm from SFC
Engineering. He
has 15 years of civil
engineering design and
field
experience. His
expertise lies in the
areas of water, sewer
and stormwater
systems, roads, and
permit
acquisitions. He
is a licensed
Professional Engineer
in NH and MA.
Goldthwaite is a
resident of
Pembroke.

RECEIVES PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING
LICENSE |

to announce that
Allison M. Rees,
Project Engineer, has
recently received
accreditation as a New
Hampshire licensed
Professional Engineer.
Ms. Rees, a resident
of Contoocook,
received her
engineering degree
from the University of
New Hampshire.
She has been a project
engineer with the firm
since 2000,
concentrating in site
design, utilities
projects, and site
plan review.
Licensure signifies
that the engineer has
met national
standards and has
demonstrated a high
level of competency in
the profession.
